In response to overwhelming success after last year’s 1st conference…plan to attend the Second annual Oregon School Employee Wellness Conference: It Starts with YOU!

Conference Goal: To engage school employees in creating healthier school environments that supports the physical, social, and emotional health and well-being of staff and students.
Conference Objectives:
- Build the personal awareness and skills to promote overall health.
- Create a culture of wellness at schools to support the health and wellness of school employees.
- Make the case for healthy school employees and the connection to student achievement and success.
- Establish a school team to develop a sustainable plan of action for school employee wellness at their school, district, and community.
- Access and use national, state and local evidence based resources to support school employee wellness.
- Make system and environmental changes to ensure equity and reduce health disparities.
Conference tracks:- Individual: builds personal awareness and skills to improve overall health.
- School: school-wide approach to creating a healthy environment for staff and students to learn, work and play.
- Community: developing community partnerships to leverage resources and achieve shared goals that promote the health and well-being of school employees and students.
Who should attend: school employees, school and district administrators, human resources, community college employees, education service district employees, superintendents, school nurses, wellness coordinators, local public health and health educators, and school board members.
When and Where: March 24-26th in Bend, Oregon at the Riverhouse Hotel and Convention Center

- Conference scholarships are available for Oregon educators, administrators, and staff to help with travel costs to attend conference.
- Discount room rate at the Riverhouse in Bend. By March 6th, reserve a room at a special discount rate of $89 per night for single and $99 per night/double. Special room rate is available until March 6th.
